Dr. Cui founded Univest Securities in November 1993 and has more than 29 years of experience in the finance and investment industry. She led Univest Securities successfully through the “tech bubble” in 2000 and the “sub-prime crisis” in 2008. Before establishing Univest Securities,Dr. Cui was Computer Operation Manager at CityMeals, and a Registered Representative at Mass Mutual and Colonial Securities. Dr. Cui graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Computer Science & Technology in 1982, received MA in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University in 1988, and received a Doctoral Degree from Pace University in 2002. Dr. Cui has Series 7, 24, 27, 53, 55, 63, 79 Registrations.

Chief Compliance Officer

Charles Smulevitz has joined AC Sunshine since January 2023, brings over 17 years of experience as a Compliance professional in the industry. He has a number of securities licenses including the Series 4, 7, 24, 28, 53, 55, 66, 79, 87. He worked at multiple wall street firms such as Aegis Capital, UBS Financial Services, Elliott Asset Management, Laidlaw Wealth Management. Charles founded a compliance consulting firm in 2019 called Compliance and Finop Advisory which provides compliance and risk management services to broker dealer clients. Charles has expertise in broker-dealer compliance and is well versed in FINRA and SEC rules and regulations. Charles graduated from City University of New York with mathematics major.

Hua Li has over 20-year experience in financial industry. He was Senior Vice President at Univest Securities and Ladenburg Thalmann, New York. He was CEO, Financial Consultant, Mundial Financial Group, and associate, AXA Advisors, New York. He closely monitored market trends and performance of mutual funds, stocks and fixed income securities to develop investment strategies and provided continuous portfolio analysis for retail clients. He reviews and supervise AC Sunshine trading and mutual fund sales activities. He has Series 7, 24, 55, 66 license, and Passed Level I of CFA exam He obtained MBA in Finance, August, 1999 at Fairleigh Dickinson University in NJ, USA. BA in Economics, August, 1992 at Beijing College of Economics, Beijing, China.
